Rehydration of ampoules: Add about 0.7 - 1.0 ml modified DSMZ medium 1118 (per L: Casitone (pancreatic digest of casein) 3.0 g; Calciumchloride dihydrate 0.7 g; Magnesiumsulphate heptahydrate 2.0 g) to the vial, mix and allow the suspension to rehydrate for 30 min at room temperature. Transfer the complete contents to an agar plate with medium 9.
