pCMV/Bsd质粒 pCMV-Bsd载体简介

Blasticidin is a potent selection agent that allows selection of stable mammalian cell lines in as little as one week. 
The BsdCassette vectors simplify the construction of custom vectors that use Blasticidin resistance as a selectable marker. 
Each BsdCassette vector is designed for use in a specific host system and offers:

A strong host promoter to drive expression of the Blasticidin resistance gene.
Two large polylinkers flanking the promoter and bsd gene to facilitate the construction of Blasticidin resistant vectors

Each BsdCassette vector carries the synthetic EM-7 promoter for expression of the bsd gene in E. coli. This eliminates the 
need to add a second antibiotic resistance gene for selection in E. coli. BsdCassette vectors provide a eukaryotic promoter 
for expressionin yeast (pTEF1/Bsd) or mammalian cells (pCMV/Bsd, pEF1/Bsd, pUB/Bsd) for construction of expression vectors 
with Blasticidin selection for a wide range of host cell types.
